About Dr Antonella Santuccione Chadha
Dr. Chadha is a highly accomplished medical doctor and internationally recognized expert in neuroscience, and neurological and psychiatric diseases. She is the co-founder and pro-bono CEO of the Women’s’ Brain Foundation, an international non-profit organization studying sex and gender differences in brain and mental disease. Dr. Chadha also serves as the Vice-President and board member of Euresearch, a Swiss governmental agency that supports research and innovation activities across Europe. Known as a transformative global leader and team builder, she has successfully turned around start-ups and provided strategic counsel and guidance to CEOs of start-ups, boards of directors, and governments. Dr. Chadha served as chief medical officer and ad-interim CEO of Altoida, a digital AI driven diagnostic company for precision neurology. She worked across several settings such as European Universities, pharmaceutical industries such as Roche and Biogen, the Swiss regulatory agency for therapeutics product approval and policy organizations. Dr. Chadha has received numerous accolades for her accomplishments. She has been listed among the Top 100 Women in Business in Switzerland since 2018 and was elected Woman of the Year in Switzerland in 2019. She has also been honoured with the World Sustainability Award for her contributions to advancing Precision Medicine and the "Premio Medicina Italia" for her efforts in managing the pandemic. In 2022, she received the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award in Switzerland. In 2023 she has been recognized as Women Leader Trailblazer. In 2024 she received the «Women Empowering Award » for her commitment to women’s health globally. Dr. Chadha is passionate about removing bias in preclinical and clinical development as well as novel technologies, aiming to achieve precision medicine. She advocates and acts for the establishment of the first worldwide sex and gender precision medicine research institute, based in Switzerland. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Chadha is an author of scientific publications, TEDx talks, and books such as "Sex and Gender Differences in Alzheimer's disease" and "Una Bambina Senza Testa”, « Innovating Health Against Future Pandemic » with Elsevier. Her work was featured by BBC, Financial Times, The Economist, The Independent, France24, Sky, NZZ and many more.
