Previous Experience in Travel Industry
Before co-founding Women Travel Leaders, Jennine Cohen held significant roles at GeoEx (Geographic Expeditions). She was the Managing Director of Global Sales from 2018 to 2020 and previously served as the Managing Director for the Americas from 2010 to 2018. Her career also includes a position as Trip Development Manager and Sales Consultant at Backroads from 2006 to 2009, and as Private Trip Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, and Lead Guide at Costa Rica Rainforest Outward Bound School from 2004 to 2005.
Education and Expertise
Jennine Cohen has a diverse educational background. She earned a Master's Degree from the Academy of Intuition & Energy Medicine from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, she completed a Public Speaking program at WomenSpeak in 2017. Her training in Outdoor Education includes Leadership & Coach Training from the Co-Active Coach & Leadership Institute from 2016 to 2018. She also studied Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles, from 1998 to 1999.
