Eric Rolls is the Director of Progression at Woodward and a Snowboard National Team Coach at PSIA - AASI. He has extensive experience in the snow sports industry, having held various roles including training manager, sales representative, and head coach.

Eric Rolls is currently the Director of Progression at Woodward in Park City, Utah, starting his tenure in 2023. Additionally, he serves as a Snowboard National Team Coach at PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors, a position he has held since 2020.

Work Experience

Eric Rolls has a extensive background in the ski and snowboard industry. He previously worked as a Rockies Sales Rep at Canyon Coolers (2013-2017) and InI Cooperative (2013-2014). His extended tenure in training and coaching roles includes being the Ski and Snowboard School Training Manager at Park City Mountain Resort for a decade (2012-2022) and a Snowboarding Guide at Canyons Resort (2010-2012). Additionally, Rolls served as Head Coach at Team Utah- Brighton Chapter (2010-2012), a Guide at All Seasons Adventures (2010-2014), and a Climber and Scaffold Builder at Nylander Rigging (2010-2012). Contributing to the broader ski and snowboarding community, Rolls was a Sales Rep for ERGO (2009-2011) and Peter Grimm Hats (2008-2010), and National Team Member- 3rd Term at PSIA - AASI (2008-2020). He also worked at Smokin Snowboards as a Sales Rep (2007-2014) and as a professional musician with the Holden Young Trio under Atman Roots Productions (2006-2010). Other relevant roles include being a Snowboard Instructor/Trainer at Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation (2005-2010) and a Snowboard Team Head Coach at Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club (2005-2009).

Education

Eric Rolls holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, where he studied Communication and Business Media Studies (2015-2019). He also earned an Associate's Degree in General Business from Champlain College (1995-1997).

Previous Leadership Roles

Before his current roles, Eric Rolls held various leadership positions in the snow sports industry. He served as the GSR Park, Pipe, and Air Team Coach at Gould Academy (2004-2005) and the Snowboard School Programs Director and Terrain Park Coordinator at Jay Peak Resort (1999-2004). Additionally, he contributed to the professional development of ski and snowboarding instructors as part of the Education Staff at PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors in the Eastern Region (2003-2007).
