About Esha Meher
Esha Meher is a lawyer, registered with the Bar Council of India. She is also affiliated to multiple organisations in India and the United States as a researcher and legal consultant. She is the founder and director of Project Darya, an initiative aimed at documenting the lives of muslim women who stand at the intersection of religion, culture and politics. Esha has a LLM in Human Rights Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK and undergraduate degree in Arts and Law from Gujarat National Law University, India. Her academic and professional interests include International Human Rights Law, Constitutional Law, Data Protection and Laws governing Migration. She has advised clients on labour disputes, transnational data protection and IP laws in an individual capacity. She provides strategic and legal support to victims of gender based violence in South Asia and the Middle East.
