About Akash R Vasishta
I am a Software Engineer by profession and a Computer Engineer by passion. During the day, I develop control and management plane software for a distributed data store - Cisco HyperFlex and during the night I pick my brain for ideas that don't let me sleep. In my free time I hit the gym or write stuff on the internet about tech. Being involved in a lot of embedded systems projects in my Bachelors gave me the impetus to focus on Distributed Systems and Systems Engineering for my Masters at University of Florida. Currently, I find myself in the midst of design/code discussions on distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes, Java, Go and Zookeeper on a daily basis.
