Andrey Kolodyuk is a Young Global Leader and co-founder of the FREE Ukraine Foundation, actively involved in Ukraine's recovery since 2022. He has extensive experience in venture capital, serving as an investor and chairman in various organizations since 2001.

Work at World Economic Forum

Andrey Kolodyuk has been associated with the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader since 2008. In this role, he engages with global leaders to address pressing issues and promote collaborative solutions. He initiated the Ukraine House Davos, a platform designed to promote Ukraine's interests during the World Economic Forum events.

Kolodyuk serves in multiple investment roles across various companies. He is a co-founder of the FREE Ukraine Foundation, active since 2022 in Brussels. He has been an investor at Viseven since 2019 in New Jersey, at Bookimed since 2017 in Portugal, and at Spin Technology since 2017 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally, he has invested in Petcube since 2014 and in nuPSYS, Inc since 2013, both in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kolodyuk has held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) since 2014. In this capacity, he contributes to the development of the venture capital ecosystem in Ukraine, focusing on fostering investment opportunities and supporting startups.

Education and Academic Background

Kolodyuk's educational background includes studies at several prestigious institutions. He achieved a PhD in Political Science from the Kyiv Koretskiy Institute, focusing on the Knowledge Economy. He studied Law at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, graduating in 2000. Additionally, he attended the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law under NASU, where he studied Political Culture and Ideology.

Achievements in Venture Capital

Kolodyuk is recognized for his contributions to venture capital in Ukraine. He founded AVentures Capital in 2001, launching the first VC fund in Ukraine. Under his leadership, AVentures Capital has achieved 14 successful exits from a total of 36 investments, marking significant milestones in the region's investment landscape.
