Lucas Camara serves as the Executive Director at C4IR Brasil, a center affiliated with the World Economic Forum, since 2020. In this role, he focuses on developing public policies that promote advancements in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Robotics, Smart Cities, and Data Policy. He has played a significant role in establishing C4IR Brasil as a public-private partnership involving the World Economic Forum, the Brazilian Federal Government, and the São Paulo State Government.
Previous Experience in Public Policy
Prior to his current position, Lucas Camara worked as the Public Policy Director for the São Paulo State Government's Secretary of Economic Development from 2019 to 2020. He also held the position of Director of Institutional Relations at Movimento Brasil Competitivo for 10 months in 2008. His experience in public policy is complemented by his extensive background in stakeholder engagement with government entities, associations, media, and NGOs.

Lucas Camara has a diverse educational background. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, where he studied from 2001 to 2006. He furthered his education with a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Bristol, studying from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, he completed a specialization in Political Science at Universidade de Brasília from 2007 to 2008 and obtained a Certificate in Public Sector from The George Washington University in 2008.

He worked at Procter & Gamble as the Government Relations Manager from 2012 to 2013 and served as the Senior Manager of External Relations at Brasil Kirin from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, he was the Senior Manager of Public Affairs at The HEINEKEN Company from 2015 to 2017. His experience spans over two decades, focusing on risk and political crisis management while adhering to ethical and legal governance standards.
