Her educational background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of food technology and processing.

Internship Experience

Deblina Sarkar gained practical experience through internships at Bakhresa Food Products Limited and Dinshaw's. She interned at Bakhresa Food Products Limited for one month in 2011 and at Dinshaw's for one month in 2010. These internships provided her with early exposure to the food industry and contributed to her professional development.

Food Safety and Quality Management

In her current role, Deblina Sarkar manages a global product compliance testing scheme that involves over 40 suppliers across more than 40 countries, covering over 400 food products. She conducts horizon scanning and technical consultations for contaminants management in food products. Additionally, she collaborates with technical partners such as Mars and Kemin Industries to enhance food safety and quality within the World Food Programme.
