He served as an Economic Strengthening Program Officer for USAID from 2013 to 2014 and as a Livelihood Program Officer for the Walmart-USAID EJO HEZA Program from 2014 to 2015, both in Kigali City, Rwanda. His roles focused on enhancing economic opportunities and supporting livelihood initiatives within communities.

Nkundanyirazo holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Crop Sciences and Horticulture from the National University of Rwanda. He further advanced his education by obtaining a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.
