Chase Brownstein serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the Yale Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Undergraduate Group. In this role, he focuses on promoting inclusive practices within the department. Additionally, he is a Founding Member and Project Manager of the Yale Mountaineering League, which he has been involved with since 2020. He has also worked as a Researcher in the Near Lab at Yale College since 2019, contributing to various research initiatives.

Chase was actively involved with the Yale College Council from 2020 to 2021. He served as a Senator for Pierson College and participated in the COVID-19 board and the Accessibility and Disability Panel, contributing to discussions on student welfare and accessibility during the pandemic.
