Isabella Osgood serves in multiple capacities at Yale University, including as the Chinese Language and Career Initiative Director of Events and Speakers since 2023. Isabella Osgood conducted a year-long research project focused on Ethnicity, Migration, and Identity, which is set to be presented at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2024. She also arranged a program of activities for visiting students from CUHK as part of a cultural exchange initiative, fostering collaboration and understanding between institutions.
Previous Work Experience
Prior to her current roles, Isabella Osgood worked as a Teaching Aide at Cuesta College for one month in 2021. She also held the position of Legislative Fellow with Yale College Democrats for eight months in 2023. Her experiences include working closely with Yale professor Leigh-Anna Hidalgo and collaborating with CUHK students and faculty as part of the YUNA program.
International Experience
Isabella Osgood has gained international experience through her studies and programs. She participated in a fully funded, two-week trip to Hong Kong, where she explored research themes and engaged with local university students. Additionally, she studied at Nanjing University for one month in 2019, further enhancing her understanding of Chinese Language and Literature.
