About Marc S. Appel
Marc Appel is the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Orange Grove Bio. He is also Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Orange Grove’s portfolio company, IpiNovyx Bio, and serves on the board of numerous other Orange Grove affiliated enterprises. He serves as an advisor to several university innovation programs including the Blavatnik program at Yale University, the tech transfer office at Cornell University, and the Dartmouth Innovations Accelerator for Cancer. As an experienced investor in the healthcare and biotech spaces, he helped to build the structured healthcare and royalty investing strategy at Marathon Asset Management, where he was instrumental on a range of large biotech deals. Prior to that, he invested across the capital structure in public market healthcare opportunities in the specialty pharma, hospital, outpatient services, drug distribution, and biotech sectors.
