Current Role as Head Of Champion Experience at YPO
Kirsten Mallow is currently serving as the Head Of Champion Experience at YPO. In this role, she oversees the champion lifecycle which includes attracting, identifying, selecting, onboarding, offboarding, recognizing, and engaging champions. She works closely with the YPO Global Board to enhance member experience and elevate the organization's operational efficiency. Her leadership is crucial in providing development and recognition for over 10,000 YPO member volunteers.
Previous Positions at YPO
Kirsten Mallow has held various significant positions at YPO prior to her current role. She served as Head of YOS and Leadership Services, where she led the evolution of YPO’s Operating System to simplify and better internal processes. Before that, she was the Chief Of Staff, supporting the organization's executive leadership. Her eight-year tenure as YPO Gold Council Director saw her managing the council's initiatives effectively. Kirsten also worked as the East Central US Regional Director and a Regional Manager, indicating a strong progression within the organization.
Early Career
Before joining YPO, Kirsten Mallow founded and operated Distinct Finish LLC. She also worked as an Event Consultant at Contract. These roles allowed her to develop valuable skills in project management and event coordination that have been beneficial in her subsequent leadership positions. Her entrepreneurial and consulting experiences have equipped her with a diverse skill set that she applies in her roles at YPO.
Educational Background
Kirsten Mallow studied journalism with a focus on advertising and public relations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1997. She further advanced her education with a certificate in project management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her academic background has provided a strong foundation for her extensive career in leadership and project management roles.
