About Colin Clark
I've spent over a decade working in the marketing technology space. My journey has taken me through wide variety of technologies and I have worked in a number of roles in the industry. I began my career working for a variety of web and social agencies before eventually founding my own company in 2009 specializing in website design, mobile app development, email marketing, and social marketing. I worked in all areas of the business from sales & marketing to coding & project management. This gave me a wide view into how the internet works, how services are deployed on it and how to successfully launch IT and marketing initiatives. In 2014 I accepted a position at SmarterHQ running implementation, support, and data management projects for some of the world's largest brands. I also gained extensive experience working with leading enterprise email marketing tools of the time including: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Responsys & Bronto (Oracle), IBM Silverpop (now called Acoustic), Sailthru, Marketo, and Cheetahmail (now called Cheetah Digital). In 2017 I accepted a position as a strategic marketing consultant at Emarsys. What attracted me about Emarsys was the robust platform and the amazing team. In 2018 I moved over to the pre-sales side of the business as a Solution Consultant and eventually to the role of Enterprise Account Executive. I am extremely passionate about my work at Emarsys. It is a mature company that acts like a startup. All the technology is built in-house and I've personally witnessed an incredible amount of innovation since I started. I look forward to working with more of the world's top brands as we strive towards our common goal of better digital marketing.
