ABA Therapy Process
Akoya Behavioral Health's ABA therapy process begins with an intake procedure where the child's needs are discussed and insurance pre-authorization is obtained. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) then meets with the child for assessment to understand their challenges and capabilities. Short and long-term goals are identified and included in a detailed care plan. Therapy sessions are conducted by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), who works with the child for 8-40 hours per week. Progress is continuously monitored and adjusted through regular check-ins with the BCBA and RBT.
