Rural Transportation Program

The Rural Transportation Program operated by Alabama Tombigbee Regional Commission provides essential transport services across Clarke, Conecuh, Monroe, and Wilcox counties. The program operates 24 vans, including 11 equipped for handicapped access. It provides a variety of transportation services such as those for dialysis patients, Welfare to Work participants, mentally impaired and physically handicapped individuals, and senior citizens traveling to the Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Centers. Additionally, the commission has constructed a 4,000 sq. foot maintenance facility for vehicle upkeep and operates a tow truck from an AARA Grant.

Revolving Loan Fund Program
