Albany International Airport completed a rebranding in 2021 to reflect its evolution into a convenient and smart gateway in the Northeast. The airport operates 24 hours daily and is certified under FAR Part 139. Located at the junction of Interstate Highways 90 and 87, the airport covers an area of 1,200 acres and includes a 24-hour TRACON equipped Air Traffic Control Tower.
Albany International Airport Services
The Albany County Airport Authority operates a full-service Air Cargo Terminal serving FedEx, UPS, and Mobile Air. Additionally, Albany International Airport offers expanded security and concession areas, a modern business center, and enhanced indoor air quality and filtration, supported by a $60M state grant. The airport handles an average of 53 commercial arrivals and 53 commercial departures daily, with rental car reservation counters located in the baggage claim area of the terminal and the rental car fleet in the airport parking garage.
