ANDE was founded in 2004 by Dr. Richard Selden in Boston, Massachusetts. The company has grown significantly since its inception, and now, it operates its headquarters from Longmont, Colorado with R&D headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts. In 2017, the Rapid DNA Act was passed which allows the use of ANDE's technology in police stations for testing arrestees.
