Anoma Foundation
The Anoma Foundation develops an intent-centric architecture for decentralized applications, focusing on multi-chain settlements, cryptography, and economic design, with its specifications open-source for over two years.
Services
Anoma Foundation provides a decentralized counterparty discovery and atomic multi-chain settlement system through its intent-centric architecture. The services include distributed key generation (DKG) schemes, hybrid DKG schemes, and a Heterogeneous Paxos protocol for multi-chain transactions. Anoma also offers a ZEXE ledger-based system and a Resource Machine (ARM) for valid state updates that conform to user preferences. Anoma's Public Signal and Multichat services provide unique applications such as an intent-centric Kickstarter-like platform and an encrypted chat network, respectively.
Technology and Architecture
Anoma's architecture prioritizes specifications, with development taking place simultaneously alongside well-defined specification documents. This spec-first approach ensures a structured and clear reference. Key technological components of Anoma's architecture include cryptography beyond zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), compilers, languages, economic design, and peer-to-peer (P2P) systems. The architecture also accommodates distributed systems through sovereign domains, keeping node heterogeneity in mind.
Fundraising
Anoma Foundation has successfully completed its 3rd round of fundraising, securing a total of USD 25 million. This funding aids in the continuation and enhancement of their decentralized systems and architecture. The Foundation’s robust fundraising efforts demonstrate significant investor confidence in Anoma's vision and technological advancements in the blockchain and decentralized applications space.
Open-Source Contributions
Anoma Foundation's architecture specifications have been open-source for over two years, inviting a broad spectrum of external contributions. The Foundation endorses an RFC (Request for Comments) program to encourage community reviews and critiques of Anoma’s design. This open-source ethos allows for community-driven improvements and innovations, fostering a collaborative development environment.
Registered Office
Anoma Foundation’s registered office is located at Baarerstrasse, 82, 6300, Zug, Switzerland. This central location in Zug places Anoma at the heart of one of the most prominent hubs for blockchain and decentralized technology enterprises.
