Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) offers a range of services focused on advanced math education. These include online classes, live sessions, and small group live classes through AoPS Academy. AoPS also provides specialized resources such as educational books, online learning tools, and an adaptive learning system called Alcumus. Additionally, AoPS offers Math Jams, which are free online discussions on various math topics and competitions.
Educational Resources
AoPS provides educational resources for students in grades 5-12, with a focus on advanced math. These resources include math textbooks and online classes. For younger students ages 6-13, AoPS offers Beast Academy, a comic-based online math curriculum. These resources are designed and taught by former math and science Olympians, aiming to prepare students for success in top-tier colleges and prestigious math competitions.
AoPS Academy
AoPS Academy has opened twelve centers nationwide since 2016 and continues to expand. It offers live classes for advanced learners in grades 2-12, covering subjects such as math, science, and language arts. AoPS Academy operates both physical and virtual campuses to reach a broader audience. The academy also provides enrichment courses for grades 1-12, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in various disciplines.
Beast Academy
Beast Academy is a part of AoPS that provides engaging math education for students aged 6-13. This program offers a comic-based online curriculum designed to make learning math enjoyable and effective. It provides a variety of math books and online learning tools to help younger students develop strong math foundations. Beast Academy aims to make math accessible and fun, encouraging early interest and proficiency in the subject.
Community and Online Forums
AoPS has developed a large online community where problem solvers can discuss and tackle challenges together. The forums are a place for creative problem solvers to connect, ask questions, and collaborate. The online platform also includes weekly interactive classes led by expert instructors, and a variety of course categories such as introductory, intermediate, advanced math, contest prep, and computer science. This community-driven approach helps students build skills through collaboration and shared problem-solving experiences.
