Bio-Tissue Medical Applications
Bio-Tissue's products are employed across various medical fields such as ophthalmology, orthopedics, neuropathy, wound care, spine, urology, and pain management. Their products serve as structural tissue products for homologous use as protective barriers and wound coverings. Conditions like diabetic foot ulcers, chronic wounds, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, pressure ulcers, wound dehiscence, and burns can be treated using Bio-Tissue's specialized products.
FDA Authorization and Quality Standards
Bio-Tissue's products are authorized under the regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) governing the manufacture and distribution of Human Tissue Products. They employ processes such as SteriTek® for producing shelf-stable amniotic membrane allografts and ensure their products are shipped in temperature-controlled containers, maintain appropriate storage conditions, and meet quality standards for safety and efficacy in medical use.
