BIX Produce was founded in 1930 by Max Bix in Austin, Minnesota. The company has grown significantly over the decades and was recently acquired by Sysco’s specialty produce company, FreshPoint, in the summer of 2023. BIX Produce serves customers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota and operates out of a state-of-the-art 190,000 square foot facility in Little Canada, Minnesota.
