Location and Facilities
Blount Boats operates its main shipyard in Warren, Rhode Island, occupying six acres of land. The shipyard includes various fabrication sheds, storage facilities, office spaces, residential properties, docks, a marine railway, and parking. The primary production facility features a 200’ x 60’ shed equipped with two 7.5-ton bridge cranes, while a secondary facility supports new construction of smaller hulls or pre-fabrication of parts and modules. Additionally, the shipyard is equipped with a marine railway with a covered tent for EPA compliant paint and blast operations and a vertical lift dry dock capable of lifting 240 long tons.

This capability allows the shipyard to undertake the construction of a wide range of commercial vessels, from small scale projects to large and complex maritime constructions.
