Services
Children's Home Network offers a wide range of services and programs throughout Central Florida. Key programs include Caregiver Support Services, Fostering Families, Healthy Families Hillsborough, Kids Village, Kinship, Pinellas Support Team, RAISE, and SEEDS. These programs address various needs including respite care for caregivers, fostering safe environments, ensuring educational readiness, and providing behavioral health support.
Caregiver Support Services
The Caregiver Support Services (CSS) program at Children's Home Network focuses on providing comprehensive support to caregivers and their families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Targeting children aged 0-13 with physical disabilities, social-emotional challenges, or developmental delays/disabilities, the CSS program offers respite services aimed at reducing household stress and enhancing family well-being.
SEEDS Program
The SEEDS program, funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, aims to ensure kindergarten readiness, academic promotion, and reading proficiency by third grade. It focuses on equipping children with the necessary skills to thrive academically from an early age. The program is designed to support continuous educational development and positive outcomes for young learners.
RAISE Program
Established in 2022, the RAISE program provides tailored intervention services aimed at promoting positive behavioral, educational, and developmental outcomes for children from birth through Grade 3. RAISE employs a multidisciplinary team of professionals and specialists, including school personnel, to deliver comprehensive support that addresses various developmental and educational challenges.
Kids Village
Kids Village at Children's Home Network offers a safe and nurturing home for foster children healing from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. The program supports males and females aged 12-17, and younger children requiring evidence-based clinical and prevention interventions. The Developmental Support Program at Kids Village also addresses the specific needs of children with developmental and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnoses.
Kinship Program
Established in 2000, the Kinship program supports relatives and non-relatives who become caregivers when parents are unable or unwilling to provide a safe environment. Services include in-home visits, advocacy, linkage to community resources, support groups, recreational activities, and social gatherings. The program aims at providing comprehensive support to kinship caregivers to ensure the well-being of the children in their care.
