Services

Code the Dream offers a range of technology development services through CTD Labs, including mobile app development using React-Native and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), web app development with tech stacks like Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, and React, and website creation using WordPress. They also provide UI/UX design services and ongoing support and maintenance for their applications. CTD Labs employs agile methodologies and typically works in two-week sprints to deliver cutting-edge web and mobile technologies for businesses, universities, and nonprofits.

Educational Programs

Code the Dream provides free, part-time coding classes that are fully remote and accessible to students across the United States. These programs are aimed at serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and low-resourced communities. In addition to their code school called CTD Learns, they offer a selective, 1-year apprenticeship program through CTD Labs where top-performing graduates gain real-world development experience. The apprenticeships cover various technologies such as ReactJS, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SQL, MongoDB, TypeScript, Jest, and PlayWright.

Custom App Development

Through CTD Labs, Code the Dream develops custom web and mobile applications for an array of clients, including businesses, universities, and nonprofits. Notable projects include applications for Teach for America, Episcopal Farm Worker Ministry, and the Hispanic Federation. CTD Labs has developed specific apps such as Vamos Outreach, Hispanic Federation App, and UpState, showcasing their capability in delivering specialized tech solutions.

Apprenticeship Programs

Code the Dream offers two distinctive apprenticeship programs tailored to different needs. The CTD Labs Apprenticeships are selective, 1-year programs where apprentices gain hands-on experience in real-world projects. Another offering is the Tandem Apprenticeship program, which partners with employers to enhance team diversity and productivity. This customized program usually lasts six months and provides a tailored experience to meet the specific needs of each organization. These apprenticeships help bridge the gap between education and professional experience.

Code the Dream has built a growing network of over 1,500 developers, with more than 50% of its staff being alums from their programs. This diverse team not only enhances the cultural richness of the workplace but also fosters a wide range of innovative ideas and solutions.
