The museum's trails and grounds, which include the Art Trail, Crystal Spring Trail, North Forest Trail, and Orchard Trail, are open from sunrise to sunset and during museum hours. Visitors can explore the natural beauty of the area and enjoy outdoor sculptures and hundreds of spring-blooming dogwoods.
Architectural Design
The museum was designed by internationally renowned architect Moshe Safdie. Its distinctive architecture includes two signature bridge structures and a series of pavilions housing galleries and studios. The Fly's Eye Dome, designed by Buckminster Fuller, is another notable feature. The museum also features a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian house, known as the Bachman-Wilson House, which was reconstructed on the museum grounds. Architect Marlon Blackwell designed the Museum Store, adding to the architectural uniqueness of Crystal Bridges.
