EAC Network offers over 100 programs and services in Long Island and New York City, aiming to foster a compassionate and just society through various initiatives in children and youth services, family and community services, behavioral health, senior services, and vocational services.

Mission and Vision

EAC Network's mission is to foster a more compassionate and just society. This mission drives the organization to implement over 100 wide-ranging programs and services in Long Island and New York City, aimed at addressing various social and community needs.

Children and Youth Services

EAC Network's Children & Youth Services are designed to support and nurture young individuals through various programs. Programs like Chance to Advance provide opportunities for youth in foster care. The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program ensures that children in the foster care system have a dedicated advocate. The Safe Start program promotes the effective and appropriate use of car seats, booster seats, and seatbelts to help prevent injuries among children.

Family and Community Services

EAC Network's Family & Community Services offer support to families and communities through several targeted programs. The Alternatives for Youth program aims to help young individuals avoid entry into the juvenile justice system. The Home Base Program provides support to families at risk of homelessness. The Long Island Dispute Resolution Centers (LIDRC) offer mediation services to resolve conflicts outside of the court system.

Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice Services

EAC Network's Behavioral Health & Criminal Justice Services provide crucial interventions for individuals dealing with mental health and addiction issues. The Abusive Partner Intervention Program (APIP) helps prevent further domestic violence by educating and reforming abusive partners. The Alcohol Education Program (AEP) focuses on preventing repeat offenses related to alcohol misuse. Additionally, the Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAM) program continuously monitors individuals with serious alcohol misuse history.

Senior and Nutrition Services

EAC Network's Senior & Nutrition Services address the needs of older adults through programs like Meals on Wheels, which delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors. The Community Guardianship program provides legal protection for seniors who can no longer manage their own affairs. In-Home Respite Services offer temporary relief for caregivers of elderly individuals. The Expanded In-home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP) provides case management, in-home care, and ancillary and respite services.

Vocational Services

EAC Network's Vocational Services aim to assist individuals in gaining and retaining employment. The Enhanced Employment Initiative (EEI) helps individuals enhance their job skills and secure employment. The Mission Employment program offers tailored support for those facing barriers to employment, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed in the workforce.
