History of EarthX
EarthX was founded in 2010 as Earth Day Dallas by Trammell S. Crow. Initially created to celebrate and promote environmental awareness around Earth Day, it has since grown into a major organization dedicated to sustainability. The EarthX EXPO event has gained significant traction over the years, growing to host over 177,000 visitors and nearly 400 exhibitors. In response to the 2020 pandemic, EarthX launched EarthxTV to maintain connection with its audience, further expanding its global reach.
EarthX EXPO
EarthX EXPO is the world's largest green gathering, held annually at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, around Earth Day. The event serves as a hub for environmental education and activism, welcoming over 177,000 visitors and featuring nearly 400 exhibitors and sponsors. The EXPO includes live music, art, and food, providing an engaging atmosphere for attendees. Due to park renovations, the next event will be held in April 2025.
EarthxTV
Launched during the 2020 pandemic, EarthxTV was created to continue engaging EarthX's audience while in-person events were suspended. This global for-profit TV network is dedicated to promoting environmental issues and sustainability. EarthxTV is available on major networks including DirecTV, FuboTV, Spectrum, and U-Verse, extending its reach throughout the US and Europe.
EarthX Congress of Conferences
The EarthX Congress of Conferences features discussions on a wide range of environmental and sustainability topics. Held from April 22-26, 2024, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, the event attracts leading environmentalists, conservationists, scientists, academics, and policy-makers. Sessions cover topics such as Conservation, Energy, E-Capital, Built Environment, Law, Oceans, Environmental Justice, and Youth, facilitating high-level discourse on global environmental challenges.
EarthX Film Festival
The EarthX Film Festival is a year-round initiative that showcases environmental storytelling through film. This movement aims to create impactful narratives that highlight environmental issues and drive change. The festival is an integral part of EarthX's mission to elevate awareness and inspire action through powerful visual media.
