The Entrepreneurs Foundation of New Hampshire was founded in 1962 with a mission to support the local community. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded a total of $867 million in grants and scholarships. The Entrepreneurs Foundation of New Hampshire has a strong track record of investment performance. Its investments are managed by the Board of Directors and Investment Committee, with assistance from Cambridge Associates. The Foundation is accredited with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, ensuring rigorous standards in financial management. The Foundation received $47 million in charitable gifts in 2022, reflecting strong community support and trust.

Specific Funds and Initiatives

The Foundation manages several dedicated funds to address specific community needs. The Wellborn Ecology Fund focuses on increasing environmental science knowledge in the Upper Valley and has awarded more than $5.5 million since 2001. The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation aims to improve health and well-being in Strafford County. The Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund supports sustainable community and economic development in New Hampshire’s North Country.
