Products
Evanesce offers a range of 100% compostable and plant-based serviceware products designed to decompose into soil in 90 days or less. Their product lineup includes straws, cutlery, cold beverage cups, cold cup lids, hot beverage cups, and hot cup lids. Evanesce also provides StarFybr™ molded starch products, made from upcycled plant materials. These products are free from PFAS, BPA, and other synthetic polymers and are certified BPI commercially compostable.
Technology
Evanesce's products incorporate patented Molded Starch technology, a significant innovation in material science engineering. This technology, which aligns with the principles of the circular economy, results in high-quality, heat-resistant biopolymer products made from plant-based resin. Their biopolymer products can withstand temperatures up to 185°F/85°C, while their molded starch products are freezer friendly and oven safe up to 400°F. The molded starch products also have a shelf life of two years.
Manufacturing Facilities
Evanesce manufactures its products in the United States, with facilities located in Early Branch, South Carolina, and North Las Vegas, Nevada. These facilities produce various customized product options, including different colors, sizes, and printing.
