Innovative Systems
FPT is at the forefront of innovation with its installation of the first aluminum separation and briquetting system in North America at Nissan North America’s Smyrna, Tennessee Stamping facility. It ensures that high-quality scrap is returned to suppliers for conversion into aluminum alloy sheets for new parts. This new process improves program efficiency by approximately 75% and allows scrap to be shipped farther and accepted by more furnaces in a briquetted format.
