History of FSTC

Founded in 2012, FSTC is India's first standalone Approved Training Organization (ATO) certified by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Over the years, the company has expanded its operations to multiple locations including Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Telangana, and Narnaul, Haryana. FSTC has also acquired the Gujarat Flying Club (GFC), one of the oldest flying clubs in India. The establishment of an 8-bay simulator facility in Hyderabad further highlights FSTC's commitment to advancing pilot training infrastructure in the region.

Pilot Training Services

FSTC offers combined pilot training courses under both its Approved Training Organization (ATO) and Flight Training Organization (FTO) entities. The company provides comprehensive pilot training services, including training on state-of-the-art level D simulators and brand-new trainer aircraft. The courses include Student Pilot License (SPL), Private Pilot License (PPL), and Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Additional certifications offered are type rating for ATR 72-600, Q400, B737, and A320. FSTC has trained more than 2000 pilots over the last 8 years, with total simulator and flight training hours reaching approximately 200,000 and 20,000 respectively.

FSTC Flying School

FSTC Flying School is envisioned to be the largest flight training school in the region. Located in Narnaul, Haryana, it boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure such as brand-new Trainer Aircraft and unrestricted airspace that ensures continuous flying opportunities. The flight school is noted for its proximity to the DEL/NCR region, availability of quality flying instructors, and adherence to international training curriculums. The fleet at the school includes aircraft like the Cessna 172, Tecnam P2008jc, and Tecnam P2006T.

Simulators and Training Facilities

FSTC operates a range of Level-D Full Flight Simulators (FFS) at its Delhi/NCR and Hyderabad locations, supporting various fleets to meet diverse airline requirements. The simulators include the country’s first Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, which was recently inducted at the Hyderabad facility. Additionally, the FSTC Flying School has incorporated an Elite Simulator at its Bhiwani, Haryana location. These simulators provide hands-on experience through Multi-Functional Training Device (MFTD), Integrated Procedural Training (IPT), and Flight Navigation Procedure Trainer (FNPT).

Collaborations and Technical Agreements

FSTC Defence has entered into a technical collaboration agreement with a seasoned flight simulator manufacturer to offer indigenous equipment and products to the Indian Armed Forces and for export. FSTC Defence focuses on research and development, design, prototyping, flight testing, and manufacturing setups aimed at generating employment in the aerospace sector. The initiative also covers special operations training, including RVSM, PBN, EDTO, CRM, and AWO courses.
