History of Game Plan, Inc.

Game Plan, Inc. was founded in 2015 as an after-school program for student athletes at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD. It was established to help student athletes excel in various aspects of life by providing guidance in academics, athletics, and personal development. Over the years, Game Plan, Inc. has grown to include middle and high school athletes, expanding its reach and program offerings.

Game Plan, Inc.'s Comprehensive Programs

Game Plan, Inc. offers a range of programs designed to position student athletes for success in life. The 1st PLACE Program focuses on Personal Development, Leadership, Athletic Excellence, College Prep, and Entrepreneurship. These programs aim to improve time management, public speaking, and goal-setting skills, along with teaching leadership by example. Additionally, Athletic Excellence training includes speed, agility, and power training, as well as sports nutrition and psychology. The College Prep program helps student athletes explore various colleges and career paths, while the entrepreneurship component focuses on building businesses and monetizing their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

Community Initiatives and Impact

Since its inception, Game Plan, Inc. has made significant contributions to the community. The organization has engaged student athletes in over 100 different careers through guest speakers from across the country, organized six college tours, and volunteered over 300 hours in community service. Game Plan, Inc. has donated more than 1,000 socks to the homeless, helped students start multiple businesses, secured college scholarships, and supported students in earning college degrees.

These memberships include NIL Training, Social Media Training, Introduction to Careers, and access to members-only content, allowing athletes from any location to benefit from the organization's resources.
