History

Geeking Out Kids of Color was founded in 2016 in Seattle. Since its inception, the organization has served over 500 kids and developed 16 different curriculum designs. The programs are offered throughout the greater Seattle area, including SeaTac, Vashon Island, White Center/Burien, and the Central District. Geeking Out Kids of Color focuses on closing the digital literacy gap through intersectional STEM education, and it has expanded its reach to 180 students in Seattle and South King County.

Programs

Geeking Out Kids of Color offers various programs tailored to youth of different age groups, from elementary (3rd grade and up) to college students. Their programs include after-school and summer sessions, both in-person in various Seattle-area locations and virtually across Washington.
