Programs Offered by Gwen's Girls
Gwen's Girls offers a variety of programs designed to support and empower young girls and women. Their Academic Success Initiative includes virtual tutoring services for students in grades K-12. The After School and Summer Programs, including Camp Destiny, provide educational and recreational activities. In addition, they offer specialized programs like the Black Girls Advocacy and Leadership Alliance (BGALA) for high school girls aged 14-18 and the S.T.A.R.S. Program, a 12-15 week mentoring initiative for court-involved and at-risk youth. Other programs include School-based & Community-based Services and Clinical Services.

Black Girls Equity Alliance (BGEA)
The Black Girls Equity Alliance (BGEA) is a key initiative of Gwen's Girls, focusing on improving outcomes for Black girls in various sectors including child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and health and wellness. The alliance aims to address and reduce disparities and structural inequities affecting Black girls. Through advocacy, research, and community engagement, the BGEA works to create systemic change and promote equity.
The Sanctuary Model
Gwen's Girls employs the Sanctuary Model to promote safety and recovery for its participants. This model involves creating a trauma-informed community that actively supports the healing process from adversity.
