Smart LUX™ App Features
Indra Renewable Technologies provides an app that complements its Smart LUX™ charger. The app allows users to manage their EV charging schedules, use a boost function for immediate charging, and add charge in units of miles, kWh, or money. This feature-rich app integrates with the cheapest and greenest tariffs, including specialist EV tariffs, off-peak, and Agile tariffs.
Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) Technology
Indra Renewable Technologies is pioneering bidirectional charging technology, known as Vehicle-to-Home (V2H). V2H enables EVs to act as mobile batteries for homes or offices. This technology allows two-way power flows between homes and EVs, using stored energy from EV batteries to power homes. The V2H technology can save up to £200 a month on energy bills and is Nissan Approved and CHAdeMO certified. The V2H trial, launched in Autumn 2022, will run until 2024. The chargers are designed, manufactured, and supported from the company's HQ in Malvern, Worcestershire.
Kerbside EV Charging Trial with Surrey County Council
Indra Renewable Technologies has partnered with Surrey County Council for a kerbside electric vehicle charging trial. As part of this initiative, Indra's Smart PRO charger has been deployed. This charger is compatible with all types of energy tariffs, including innovative 'type of use' tariffs. It includes a feature-packed app for managing charging schedules and history. In the trial, the Smart PRO charger is paired with pavement gullies provided by Kerbo Charge and ODS, enabling drivers to charge when it's cheapest and best for the planet.
