Convoy is a cloud-based platform for DER communication, control, and coordination. Spark, an intelligent software client, can be embedded in smart devices or reside in the Envoy Gateway. Additionally, the Grid Action Platform (GAP) integrates, aggregates, and controls DERs, adhering to the IEEE 2030.5 standard.

Kitu Systems' Grid Action Platform (GAP) integrates, aggregates, and controls DERs using the IEEE 2030.5 standard. This platform provides a robust, reliable, ultra-secure, and rapidly scalable communication infrastructure. GAP supports California Rule 21 requirements for smart inverters and offers comprehensive solutions for EV charging stations, enhancing grid management and coordination capabilities.
History
Kitu Systems was founded in 2009 as Grid2Home and rebranded to Kitu Systems in 2015. The company has made significant strides since its inception, including being the first to achieve SunSpec Alliance CSIP certification for Citadel, Convoy, and Spark. Kitu Systems also successfully completed SOC2 Type II certification and participated in Southern California Edison's Charge Ready 2 program incentives.
Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions
Kitu Systems offers comprehensive EV charging station management solutions. They have deployed 190 electric vehicle chargers at Fairplex, home of the LA Fair, and participate in the Southern California Edison (SCE) Charge Ready 2 program incentives.
