History
Kythera Space Solutions was spun out from RKF Engineering in 2018 to focus on advancing software solutions for next-generation communication satellites and networks. Since its inception, the company has achieved significant milestones, including the development of the Adaptive Resource Control (ARC) System for SES Networks' O3b mPOWER MEO constellation and becoming the standardized solution for Thales Alenia Space's software-defined Space Inspire satellite product line. Kythera was recognized as the 2020 FinSpace Top Tech Startup and the 2021 Emerging Technology Company of the Year by the Maryland Tech Council. The company was also awarded the MSUA’s 2021 Satellite Mobile Innovation Award.
