LIFTE H2
LIFTE H2 specializes in hydrogen infrastructure and decarbonization solutions, with operations in Europe and the US. Its US-based operations have been acquired by Powertech Labs, while its digital APM platform has been acquired by Electric Hydrogen.
LIFTE H2 Background
LIFTE H2 has established itself as a key player in the hydrogen industry, focusing on addressing the decarbonization needs of various sectors. Their operations span across Europe, where they design and deliver hydrogen infrastructure solutions for customers. The company is dedicated to providing comprehensive engineering services for integrated hydrogen systems, optimizing processes from electrolysis to customer application. Their goal is to support various hydrogen projects, including H2 production, mobility, municipal utilities, renewable developments, and industrial H2 applications.
Acquisition by Powertech Labs
LIFTE H2's US-based operations and infrastructure solutions were recently acquired by Powertech Labs, which is headquartered in British Columbia, Canada. Following the acquisition, Powertech Labs created a new subsidiary, Powertech USA, to cater to the US and Canadian markets. This move aims to expand their reach and enhance the provision of integrated hydrogen fueling solutions.
Powertech USA's Hydrogen Solutions
Powertech USA offers a range of infrastructure solutions, including hydrogen export systems, high-capacity transport trailers, mobile refuelers, and fueling stations. They have introduced the market's first end-to-end hydrogen fueling solution, which streamlines the entire hydrogen supply chain from production to vehicle refueling. This development aims to facilitate the adoption of hydrogen as a viable fuel source in North America.
LIFTE H2's Digital Asset Performance Management
LIFTE H2 has developed a specialized digital Asset Performance Management (APM) platform. This platform is designed to manage hydrogen data, assets, and people effectively. The APM platform aids in enhancing the operational efficiency and reliability of hydrogen infrastructure. Recently, this platform and LIFTE H2’s digital development team were acquired by Electric Hydrogen (EH2), a company specializing in industrial-scale hydrogen electrolyzer technology.
