Products
Metalworks specializes in metal filing, storage, and organizational products for personal and commercial use. The company provides a variety of products, including metal pedestal files, lateral files, and other storage cabinets tailored for the contract furniture industry. All products meet or exceed ANSI-BIFMA standards for durability and safety. With the acquisition of Flairwood, Metalworks has expanded its product line to include laminate case goods, such as cabinets and carts. Notably, Metalworks and Flairwood have jointly developed successful products like laminate lockers.
Manufacturing Facilities
Metalworks operates two manufacturing facilities totaling over 220,000 square feet, with approximately 200 employees. Additionally, the acquired Flairwood facility provides another 60,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space in Norton Shores, employing around 40 individuals. These facilities feature advanced fabrication capabilities, including coil-fed lasers, panel benders, brake presses, turret punches, robotic weld cells, and more. Metalworks' powder coating capabilities are extensive, with three powder coat lines and over 1000 active colors.
