Data Center Locations and Expansion
Netrality operates interconnected data centers across multiple locations, including Houston, Kansas City, Kansas City Metro, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Chicago, and Indianapolis. The company has expanded its capacity with the addition of new data halls in both Houston and St. Louis. Moreover, Netrality acquired Lifeline Data Centers’ facility and 365 Data Centers’ Indianapolis facility, both situated on the Indy Telcom campus. These expansions enhance their capacity and service offerings in key regions.
Sustainability Initiatives
Focused on sustainability, Netrality Data Centers secured a $380 million sustainability-linked loan to improve energy efficiency. The company utilizes artificial intelligence to manage HVAC systems to decrease energy consumption, conducts programmatic replacement of end-of-life equipment with high-efficiency alternatives, and tracks greenhouse gas emissions to develop a formalized plan to achieve net-zero emissions. Their network-neutral approach supports direct connection to major services, including Google Cloud at the 1102 Grand facility in Kansas City. The company's extensive peering hubs are among the most robust in their regions, enabling effective IP traffic exchanges between ISPs and content providers through multiple member-run Internet Exchanges.
