Energy Storage Products
Our Next Energy (ONE) offers a comprehensive range of energy storage products, including Aries™ LFP, Aries™ II, Gemini™, and Aries™ Grid. Each product is tailored to specific applications, from electric vehicles to stationary grid storage. The Aries™ LFP pack is suitable for trucks, boats, and other heavy-duty applications with a capacity of 79 kWh and a range of over 200 miles. The Aries™ II pack, designed for passenger vehicles, features a capacity of over 100 kWh and a range of 350+ miles. The Gemini™ battery, with its dual-chemistry architecture, offers a capacity of 185+ kWh and can achieve 600+ miles on a single charge. The Aries™ Grid system provides a robust 3.5 MWh storage solution for renewable energy, capable of powering factories, data centers, and entire communities.
Energy Storage Solutions for Grid and Electric Vehicles
ONE provides a variety of energy storage solutions designed for both the electric vehicle and grid storage markets. Their Aries™ LFP pack is aimed at trucks and boats, supporting 5000+ cycles with daily charging to 100%. For passenger vehicles, the Aries™ II pack offers extensive range and capacity. Their Gemini™ battery, notable for reducing lithium, graphite, nickel, and cobalt usage, powered a BMW iX for 608 miles on a single charge. The Aries™ Grid system is customizable for numerous stationary storage applications and supports renewable energy infrastructure including the world's largest solar and storage microgrid project in West Virginia.
Gemini Battery Technology
The Gemini™ battery by ONE utilizes a dual-chemistry architecture with LFP cells for daily driving and anode-free cells for extended trips. With a capacity of 185+ kWh, Gemini™ can deliver an impressive range of 600+ miles on a single charge. This battery technology reduces the use of critical materials by up to 20% for lithium, 60% for graphite, and to a lesser extent, nickel and cobalt, making it a more sustainable option for electric vehicles. A notable demonstration of Gemini™ technology was powering a BMW iX for 608 miles on a single charge.
Aries Grid System for Renewable Energy
The Aries™ Grid system is a versatile energy storage solution from ONE, built in the United States. With a capacity of 3.5 MWh, it can be configured to support various stationary storage needs. The Aries™ Grid system has been deployed to power factories, data centers, and entire communities with 100% renewable energy. It also features a DC Fast Charge capability, supporting up to 20 buses charging at 20-30kW each. ONE's Aries Grid technology is also involved in creating the largest solar and storage microgrid in West Virginia.
Manufacturing and Partnerships
ONE's manufacturing capabilities include the ONE Circle Gigafactory, which can produce enough cells to assemble 240,000 Aries II and Gemini packs annually. Pilot production of LFP battery cells has commenced at ONE's 20 GWh facility in Michigan. In partnership with L&F, ONE aims to produce IRA-compliant cathode active materials for U.S.-made batteries. The Aries LFP pack is supported by a North American supply chain and is manufactured in Michigan by Piston Automotive. ONE's strategic partnerships and advanced production capabilities underscore its commitment to sustainable and domestically produced energy storage solutions.
