Quantec Geoscience
Quantec Geoscience, founded in 1986, specializes in ground-based electrical and electromagnetic earth imaging techniques, offering comprehensive solutions for the mining, geothermal, and oil & gas sectors.
Company History of Quantec Geoscience
Quantec Geoscience was founded in 1986. During the 1990s, the company expanded its operations into the United States, South America, and Australia. Over the years, Quantec Geoscience has established itself as a leader in ground-based electrical and electromagnetic earth imaging techniques. In 2000, the company introduced the TITAN 24 system, and in 2010, it launched the ORION 3D system. These advancements have enabled Quantec Geoscience to complete over 5,000 surveys worldwide in diverse environments including arctic, desert, mountain, and jungle.
Quantec Geoscience Services
Quantec Geoscience offers a comprehensive range of services in the mining, geothermal, and oil & gas sectors. Their surveys include deep imaging 2D and 3D DCIP and Magnetotellurics (MT). Additionally, the company provides Time Domain Electromagnetics (TEM), Borehole Time Domain Electromagnetics (BTEM), Resistivity, IP, Ground Magnetics, Gravity, and Controlled Source Magnetotellurics (CSAMT) surveys. The full turnkey solutions provided by Quantec Geoscience cover project planning through to the final interpretation and targeting of subsurface structures.
TITAN 24 System from Quantec Geoscience
Introduced in 2000, Quantec Geoscience's TITAN 24 system is a geophysical survey technology that provides 2D DCIP and Magnetotelluric (MT) data from the near surface to a depth of 2000 meters. The TITAN 24 system has been instrumental in completing over 400 surveys globally, enabling detailed geological mapping and aiding in resource exploration.
ORION 3D System by Quantec Geoscience
Launched in 2010, the ORION 3D system by Quantec Geoscience is notable for being the world's only authentic 3D earth imaging system. This system is capable of collecting omni-directional DCIP data, facilitating true 3D acquisition. The ORION 3D survey can cover areas up to 4 square kilometers and provides deep 3D information to a depth of 2 kilometers.
SPARTAN MT Technology at Quantec Geoscience
The SPARTAN MT system from Quantec Geoscience offers versatile mapping solutions from surface exploration to deep structural imaging. This full-tensor audio-magnetotelluric technology operates within a frequency band of 10 kHz to 0.001 Hz and can map mineral systems to depths of up to 50 kilometers. The SPARTAN MT system can be tailored to specific exploration requirements, making it a robust tool for drill planning and geophysical investigations.
