All products are Non-GMO and are packaged using materials that contain 30% less plastic than traditional salad clamshells. These packages are also recyclable. The company focuses on producing fresh and nutritious green products that maintain a longer shelf life due to their reduced transit time.
Locations
Revol Greens operates greenhouses in several locations across the United States. These include Owatonna, Minnesota, Tehachapi, California, Temple, Texas, and Athens, Georgia. The greenhouse in Owatonna was built in 2017 and expanded in 2020, while the facility in Tehachapi opened in 2021. The Athens greenhouse joined the Revol Greens family in 2022, and the Temple greenhouse serves as the flagship facility and home to the research and development team.
Innovative Growing Techniques
Revol Greens employs cutting-edge growing techniques to ensure the highest quality produce. The company uses a first-of-its-kind plant-based nutrient source called Plant Fed Organic® to keep greens clean, safe, and 100% plant-based. No pesticides, herbicides, or harsh chemicals are used in the greenhouses. Additionally, technology is utilized to optimize greenhouse climates and growing recipes. A chemical-free process is used to sterilize water for irrigation.
Water Conservation and Sustainability
Revol Greens prioritizes water conservation and sustainability in its operations. The company uses 90% less water than traditional farming methods, thanks to advanced water conservation standards. Rainwater and snowmelt are captured from facility roofs, and water is recycled and reused in a continuous loop system. The Temple, Texas greenhouse, in particular, captures 100% of its water needs from the greenhouse roof and retention ponds.
