SafeLumin
SafeLumin offers a multi-voltage 60W LED light bulb with flashlight mode, providing 800 lumens of brightness and 20% brighter DC backup lighting, suitable for global use and certified for safety.
Products
SafeLumin offers a multi-voltage 60W brighter version of their LED light bulbs. The product features a flashlight mode and operates from AC 100V to 240V global voltages. It provides 800 lumens of brightness, comparable to a 60W bulb replacement. It also offers 20% brighter DC backup lighting. The bulbs come in color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K. With an electrical rating of 6.5W for normal use and 7.5W for charging, these bulbs include several certifications like UL, FCC, CE+CB, EMC, and ROHS. They auto-charge when on, consuming very little energy for the power outage sensor system.
Technical Specifications
SafeLumin's new light bulb features a patented air-gap design to reduce the risk of LED and battery overheating. It maintains a consistent brightness of 120 lumens during power outages for up to 3 hours. The lamp bases available are E26 for North America and E27 for Europe. The bulbs have a lifespan of 25,000 hours, corresponding to roughly 22.8 years with 3 hours of daily use. The estimated yearly energy cost is $0.92. The bulbs can be used with up to 12 LED and CFL bulbs on the same switch but are incompatible with incandescents, halogens, or fans.
Patented Technology
The LED light bulbs from SafeLumin feature patented technology that distinguishes between a power outage and a switch being turned off. The bulbs are also designed to auto-charge when the lights are on and stop charging when the battery is full. The power outage sensor system in the bulbs consumes minimal energy, keeping the battery charged for about six months. Despite having a built-in battery, these bulbs have the same size as regular A19 LED light bulbs, making them suitable for various settings, including homes, businesses, hospitals, nursing homes, and restaurants.
Energy Efficiency and Lifespan
SafeLumin's LED light bulbs are designed for energy efficiency, with an estimated yearly energy cost of $0.92. They also feature a long lifespan of 25,000 hours, equal to approximately 22.8 years when used for three hours per day. The bulbs' energy-efficient design includes an electrical rating of 6.5W during normal use and 7.5W for charging. Their patented air-gap design helps reduce the heat generated by the LED and battery, contributing to a longer lifespan.
