History of Soho House
Founded in 1995, Soho House originated as a club for creatives. The first Soho House was opened on London’s Greek Street above the restaurant Cafe Boheme. Over the years, the brand has significantly expanded its footprint, now boasting more than 40 locations globally. Each House is crafted to provide a unique yet familiar experience, complete with spaces for drinking, dining, relaxing, working, and exercising.
Soho House Memberships
Soho House offers a variety of membership types to cater to different needs. Options include Every House membership, which grants access to all locations globally; Local House membership, for access to a single House; Cities Without Houses membership, for those who do not live near a House but wish to access the community and Houses when traveling; and Under 27 membership, designed for younger members. These memberships enable members to enjoy the facilities and community both locally and internationally.
Soho Home Interiors Range
Launched in 2016, Soho Home is the interiors range of Soho House, offering members and non-members alike a chance to bring a touch of Soho House style into their own homes. The collection features furniture, tableware, textiles, and home accessories inspired by the various Houses around the world. Soho Home allows customers to enjoy the design and atmosphere of Soho House in their personal spaces.
Soho House Restaurants
Soho House operates several renowned restaurants, each known for its unique ambiance and culinary offerings. The first Cecconi’s restaurant was opened in London’s Mayfair in 2005 and has since become a staple within the hospitality brand. Other notable restaurants include Dean Street Townhouse, Kettner's, Electric Diner, and Cafe Boheme. These establishments maintain the high standards of Soho House, providing exceptional dining experiences.
Global Expansion of Soho House
Soho House continues to grow its global community with new openings planned in several locations. Soho House São Paulo will soon feature 32 bedrooms, a gym, spa, rooftop pool bar, restaurants, and member club spaces. Upcoming openings in 2024 include Soho House Manchester, Miami Pool House in the Wynwood neighborhood, and Soho House Charleston on East Bay Street in Charleston, South Carolina. Additionally, Grasmere House in Rhinebeck, New York, will offer a countryside retreat, while Soho House Sydney will be the first House to open in Australia.
