Services
Strada Education Network collaborates with students, policymakers, educators, and employers across the U.S. to strengthen the link between education and opportunity. It offers services such as research, grantmaking, social impact investments, and public policy solutions. The organization also supports Strada-funded nonprofit organizations and strategic initiatives to ensure that postsecondary education provides equitable opportunities.
Focus Areas
Strada Education Network focuses on five key priorities: Clear Outcomes, Quality Coaching, Affordability, Work-Based Learning, and Employer Alignment. These areas are designed to ensure that students receive an education that leads to tangible career and life opportunities. By concentrating on these priorities, Strada aims to create a more equitable and effective postsecondary education system.
Initiatives
Strada Education Network supports several key initiatives, including the Beyond Completion Challenge, the Employer and Community College Partnership Challenge, and the HBCU Initiative. The Beyond Completion Challenge is a $10 million initiative aimed at helping higher education institutions identify and expand new solutions to improve career and life opportunities for students. The Employer and Community College Partnership Challenge, with $4 million in funding, supports innovative partnerships between employers and community colleges to meet regional workforce needs.
Grantmaking
Strada Education Network provides grants to nonprofit organizations and postsecondary education institutions. These grants are targeted at helping students and workers, particularly those who face significant barriers, to succeed. By funding these initiatives, Strada aims to create equitable pathways to opportunity and support educational institutions in fostering student success.
