Organizational Structure

TSSA operates as a not-for-profit, self-funded organization. It employs approximately 400 individuals, with 70% working in operations to ensure safety regulations are properly implemented and followed. The organization is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors, which provides strategic direction and ensures accountability to the Government of Ontario and its diverse stakeholders. TSSA's governance structure ensures that its safety programs and initiatives align with the public interest and regulatory requirements.
