TechTown operates a 135,000-square-foot building in Detroit's New Center for coworking, offices, meetings, and events. They provide business support services such as Strategy Sessions, Ask an Expert, Training Series, and access to a Professional Services Network. They offer flexible workspaces and venue reservation services for events, meetings, and coworking. TechTown also hosts an annual event called Toast of The Town to honor Detroit's entrepreneurs.

TechTown supports tech startups and small businesses through various programs including Start Studio, Traction, Tech Capital Programs, MAIN, and MedHealth. Start Studio helps tech startups validate and test their business ideas, while Traction aids startups with a minimum viable product in establishing a path to recurring, predictable revenue. MedHealth accelerates medical innovation in Southeast Michigan and Southwest Ontario. Additionally, TechTown supports mobility innovators with ideas or tech startups related to the movement of people, products, information, and services.
