History
The Father Center of New Jersey was founded in 1859 as the Union Industrial Home for Children. Over the years, the organization has evolved to focus specifically on supporting fathers. Formerly known as UIH Family Partners, the organization rebranded to better reflect its mission. The Father Center has a long-standing commitment to supporting juvenile offenders and ex-offenders re-entering the community. Its Trenton location at One West State Street is situated in the historic area known as 'Corner Historic.'
Events and Conferences
The Father Center of New Jersey hosts several annual events to engage the community and support its mission. These include the Statewide Fatherhood Conference, which brings together experts and participants to discuss fatherhood-related topics. Additionally, the organization hosts an annual Father Family Fun Day and the Platinum Dads event, both designed to celebrate and support fathers and their families.
